RMA Policy
Information on Rivet Store's RMA (Return Materials Authorization) policy is below. If you have questions, please call us at (800)325-3147.
Returns and Exchanges
Absolutely no returns are accepted without prior approval from Rivet Store and the receipt of a Rivet Store Return Material Authorization number (RMA).
A request for an RMA must be made within 30 days from date of invoice. The RMA will expire after 14 days. To request an RMA number please contact Rivet Store via fax: (972)-986-2832 or email: info@rivetstore.com. Issuance of an RMA is subject to the Terms and Conditions below.
Returns
All returns must be received within 60 days from date of invoice. No returns will be accepted after 60 days. Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs. Once goods are received and have passed inspection, a credit will be issued for returned goods only (not freight).
Standard Parts and Tools
Standard parts or tools may be returned for full credit providing the following:
- All parts or tools must be new, unused, unaltered, complete, in full working condition and in their original packaging
- All original materials must be included with return (i.e., paperwork, manuals, warranty cards, accessories and documentation provided by the manufacturer)
- A minimum 10% (ten percent) restocking fee may apply if goods are not being replaced
Specialty Parts
If the manufacturer will accept the return of specialty parts, a minimum 25% (twenty-five percent) restocking fee will apply. If specialty parts have been ordered specifically for the customer and the manufacturer will not allow Rivet Store to return parts, no return will be allowed.

Goods Damaged in Transit
If the package is damaged in transit to the customer, the customer must immediately have the carrier note in writing any physical damage upon receipt of goods. Please notify Rivet Store as soon as possible to expedite the solution to the problem.
Customers must keep the original box for inspection from UPS, USPS or the freight carrier used. If the original box is not retained by the customer, it is a UPS, USPS and freight carrier policy to refuse payment for the claim. Rivet Store is not responsible for unpaid claims by UPS, USPS or freight carriers.
Returns and Exchange Instructions
To request an RMA, the following is required:
- Your invoice number
- Part unmbers of items you wish to return
- The email address where the RMA should be sent
- Reason for return
An RMA Form and an RMA Label will be emailed to you containing your RMA Number.
- Complete the RMA Form and enclose it in the shipping box along with the packing slip or invoice (if possible). You must reference the Invoice Number on the RMA Form.
- Once the RMA Label is received, cut and firmly tape it to the outside of the shipping box with clear tape. It is important to attach this RMA Label to ensure that your RMA is processed in a timely manner. FAILURE TO TAPE THE RMA LABEL TO THE SHIPPING BOX MAY RESULT IN A PROCESSING DELAY. The RMA Label is for Rivet Store's internal use only and IS NOT a valid UPS, FED-EX, or USPS shipping Label. YOU MUST HAVE A VALID SHIPPING Label FROM THE CARRIER (if Rivet Store is at fault, you will be given the carrier by which the goods are to be returned).
- For your protection, you may wish to consider insuring the goods that you are returning. We also suggest the use of a carrier that can provide a "proof of delivery."
- Rivet Store must receive the items you are returning before a refund or an exchange is sent. Before calling to check the status of your return, please allow 7 working days for your package to be delivered to Rivet Store. Your return will then be processed through our Quality Department. If the material is received in acceptable condition per our terms, Rivet Store will credit you in the manner you placed the order. Credit Card orders are always credited to the card charged, refund checks will be sent within a 2 or 3 week period.
